Boasting one of the most architecturally distinguished campuses in the country, MUW has 23 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. But these buildings aren't just beautiful; they are functional for today's student too. Dormitories have been renovated into apartment-style residence halls, and academic buildings have been updated to include the latest equipment. The most recent renovation that is underway is a mass renovation of Poindexter Hall, MUW's music hall. It is a $7M project slated for completion in Summer 2012. Plans include a new reception area, auditorium, and plenty of rehearsal space. In an effort to continually provide an educational experience that will truly prepare our graduates, the university recently completed a professionally prepared Campus Master Plan that will provide strategic planning for renovation and new construction for the next 20 years.
