Dual Enrollment/
Dual Credit
The Dual-Enrollment and Dual-Credit program at MUW gives high-school students the opportunity to earn college credits while learning about the college experience. Typically, students in this program take introductory courses:
- English Composition
- History of Civilization
- Biology with Lab
- Geography
- Art Appreciation
- College Algebra
- Pre-Calculus
- Calculus
- Computer courses
- Economics
- Oral Communication
- Theatre Appreciation
- Music Appreciation
- Psychology
- Sociology
Dual credit and dual enrollment at MUW offer some advantages for high-school students. Advanced-placement courses require students to take exams to be eligible for college credit and do not guarantee college credit unless the students make acceptable scores. In contrast, dual-credit and dual-enrollment courses are recorded on a MUW transcript and are readily accepted by four-year institutions as transfer work.
