Students often need financial assistance to fund their national and international programs. MUW provides several resources for financial aid.
First, all MUW students may apply any available federal and state aid for which they qualify to any of the programs that MUW sponsors or with which it is affiliated. To learn more about federal and state aid, contact MUW's Financial Aid Office.
Second, MUW students who customarily receive institutional aid may apply that aid to their programs through ASU-Japan. See MUW's Financial Aid Office for more details.
Third, MUW students going to ASU-Japan who are noton institutional aid may apply for study abroad scholarships if available. In addition, MUW students going on other sponsored or affiliated programs may apply for study abroad scholarships, but they will receive them, if available and awarded, in lieu of any institutional aid that they customarily receive. Ask Dr. Velek about the availability of study abroad scholarships.
Honors students doing their required study abroad should contact Dr. Velek about cost and scholarships.
In addition, there are some outside scholarships available to help pay for study abroad.
