Class Council

Class Council is made up of officers from the freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior classes. Class Council is the student group responsible for upholding the traditions of MUW. These traditions include: Junior/Senior Rivalry, Sophomore/Junior Rivalry, 100th Night, the Magnolia Chain Ceremony, and the Senior Class Gift. Class Council officers are elected by the student body during SGA Elections. IMAGE, as a minority organization at The Mississippi University for Women, promotes a threefold mission: to increase the academic standing of minorities under-represented in the sciences, math, and engineering; to increase the number of the under-represented minorities matriculating to The Mississippi University for Women; and, to make IMAGE a catalyst for positive things in and around The Mississippi University for Women community.
