Pre-Professional Advising Within the Department of Sciences and Mathematics

Students planning to continue on to professional schools after their education at MUW are well served toward this goal during their time at MUW.

Students headed to medical school, dental school, pharmacy school, and veterinary school typically major in Biology or Chemistry and are assigned academic advisors in the Department of Sciences and Mathematics.  Students planning on occupational therapy or physical therapy school are typically advised through the Department of Health and Kinesiology, and students working toward engineering typically choose Mathematics or Chemistry as their major and are assigned an academic advisor in the Department of Sciences of Mathematics.
