Division of Nursing
If you are a registered nurse who is interested in a baccalaureate program in nursing, Mississippi University for Women's Division of Nursing has an Advanced Placement Option that is designed just for you. In order to meet the needs of the working registered nurse we have adopted two flexible options.
1. Partial Distance Option: combination of distance learning and classroom setting. During first semester the student attends class one day every other week ; second and third semesters the student attends class one day every three weeks .Navigating Through the Admission Process:

Once a potential student has contacted the program, individual advising will occur. Please contact your advisor each semester prior to admission for continued advisement and updates.
Students must first apply for admission into the university. This is done by completing the Online Admission Form , completing the online Immunization Form and having all transcripts mailed to the Tupelo RN/BSN Option at the following address:

Once a student has been admitted into the university the admission process into the RN/BSN Upgrade Program follows. An admission application is not required, the university application form will serve that purpose but students do have to provide additional information prior to being admitted.
