Management Information Systems (MIS) Concentration

MIS Major
The concentration in Management Information Systems is designed to provide students with a firm foundation and a broad knowledge of the organization's Information Systems and to prepare the student for a career in the Information Systems profession. Graduates of this program will be prepared for entry-level positions in a variety of Information Systems areas. The concentration can also serve as a foundation for continued career growth by Information Systems professionals who wish to pursue professional certifications.
Major requirements in Business Administration for students concentrating in MIS include the following 30 semester hours beyond the business core:
