Graduate Mission Statement: Mississippi University for Women offers graduate programs that provide students who have received a baccalaureate degree with opportunities to learn research-based content beyond that of their undergraduate programs while refining their skills as practicing professionals. The mission of Graduate Studies follows the University's Strategic Plan: (1) promoting academic excellence through programs that result in individuals who are masters in their professions, (2) maintaining a rigorous system of admissions and monitoring, (3) developing leadership and research skills, and (4) fostering community service as well as participation in state, regional, national, and international organizations.
