EMERGENCY
During the day for any personal crisis between 8:00a.m.– 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday, you may call 329-7748 or come by in person to the Counseling Center.
After business hours for emergencies/crisis, you may call the MUW Police (241-7777). If you are experiencing a physical emergency, please call 911.
. Situations requiring an immediate response:
· The student has inflicted harm to self that a reasonable person would regard as serious
· The student has inflicted harm to self that a reasonable person would regard as serious
· The student is believed to have ingested substance(s) of which the amount and effect is uncertain
· The student has threatened harm to self and has been using alcohol/drugs
· The extent of self-injury is unknown and the student is unresponsive to stimuli
Responses to the above situations involve contacting MUW Security at 241-7777 and 9-911.
