If you are a high school senior who finds yourself drawn to the frontline, apply NOW to attend the annual Hearin Leadership Conference at MUW! During the conference, you will join with other like-minded individuals for a weekend of stimulating and informative speakers, seminars, and workshops.
Discover how to influence others and make a difference through exciting, interactive workshops from a nationally known facilitator. Other activities and entertainment will allow the opportunity to interact with other future leaders from across the Southeast.
Conference is open to eligible high school seniors who possess strong leadership skills and have demonstrated involvement in school and/or community activities. To be eligible to attend the conference you must be a senior with an overall 2.5 high school GPA and a minimum ACT score of 18.
Students interested in attending must complete and return the Hearin Leadership Conference Application, secure a recommendation from a guidance counselor or other school representative, and provide an updated resume that shows demonstrated leadership ability. Application materials are due to the Office of Admissions by January 25, 2013.
