Director of Housing & Residence Life

Sirena is a native of Caledonia, Mississippi. She received an associate’s degree in Behavioral Science from East Mississippi Community College. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Millsaps College. Sirena also received her master’s degree in counseling from Mississippi State University. Sirena was recently a residence hall director for six years at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater before joining Mississippi University for Women in the spring of 2008. Sirena is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs at Mississippi State University.

Nakikke Wallace
Assistant Director for Housing Services
Nakikke K.Wallace is a native of Baldwyn, MS. She received an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Northeast Mississippi Community College. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science with a minor in English from Delta State University. Nakikke obtained her Masters degree in Secondary Education and an additional bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Delta State University.

Phillip Dante Hampton
Residence Director for Kincannon Hall
Phillip is a native of Starkville, MS. He received his Bachelor's degree of Science in Kinesiology (Clinical Exercise) from Mississippi State University. He also received his Master's degree in Public Policy & Administration from Mississippi State University. Phillip joined Mississippi University for Women in the Summer of 2011.







Yvett Harris
Counselor
Yvett is a native of Brooksville, MS. She received an Associate's degree in Applied Science from East Mississippi Community College. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Missisisppi. Yvett also received her Masters degree in Counseling from University of West Alabama. Yvett is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Her clinical endeavors have provided her with a variety of experiences to become a well-rounded clinician while meeting the diverse needs of every individual. Her aspiration is to assist clients in their understanding of themselves and their ability to engineer stability and balance in their lives.
 



Alicia Mainka
Counselor
Alicia Mainka is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. Her work experience has given her the opportunity to provide mental health services to individuals with diverse cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds. She strives to equip the individuals she serves with the tools and knowledge needed to successfully accomplish their personal, academic and career goals.

Jennifer Kay
Residence Director for North Campus
Jennifer is a native of Sterling Heights, Michigan. She has a Bachelor's of Arts and Science degree in English with a minor in Psychology from Western Michigan University. Jennifer graduated from Mississippi State University, where she also worked as a Residence Director for two years. She spent a year at the University of Southern Mississippi as a Residence Life Coordinator before joining Mississippi University of Women as Residence Director.

Stephanie Martin
Residence Director for Jones Hall
Stephanie grew up in Ethelsville, Alabama, which is just a few miles from The W. In 2002, she graduated from the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science in Mobile. She continued her education at Auburn University where she received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. She then returned to ASMS as a hall advisor for four years before joining Mississippi University for Women as a Residence Director in the Fall of 2012.

Margaret Barry

Administrative Assistant
Margaret joined the Office of Housing & Residence Life staff in the summer of 2005 and has been employed in Student Services since 2000. She is a graduate of The W and works on departmental budgets and maintains the front office in the Office of Housing & Residence Life.

Brian is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He joined the Office of Housing & Residence Life staff in October of 2011. He is a graduate of Central West in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
