The W Counseling Center
Who is eligible for counseling?
Counseling Center Services
The Counseling Center is available to provide a wide range of services to students enrolled at The W. If a student is experiencing stress, having difficulty adjusting to student life, struggling to create or maintain peer/family relationships, or simply needs an objective point of view regarding a decision or issue in their life, the counseling staff can help. The counselors are also well-trained mental health professionals who can assist students with any mental health needs, including referral to local outside agencies if necessary.
Counseling services include individual, group and couples counseling to all enrolled students whether they live on-campus or off-campus. The counseling staff is also available to present workshops to faculty/staff or students on various life coping skill topics and mental health issues. If there is a need for the students in our W community, we want to help meet those needs.
