Metal Arts
Metal art is taught in the metals shop, and is focused around lost wax casting, wire forming, glass fusion and other jewelry manufacturing techniques. A variety of processes are explored using silver as the primary medium. From concept to completion this studio course also introduces students to metal fabrication and soldering techniques. Students will learn the versatility and limitations of working with the medium of metal.
