McDevitt Day Application Procedure

To apply for the McDevitt and University Transfer Scholarships, students should submit the following to the Office of Admissions:
- McDevitt Day Application
- Official transcript(s) from all colleges attended
- One page essay on the following topic: "What is your true passion in life and how has it affected you?"
To apply for Hearin Scholarship, students should submit the following to the Office of Admissions:
- Hearin Application
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended
To qualify for these scholarships, community college transfer students must attend McDevitt Day on March 30 and specify that they would like to interview for the Hearin Leadership Scholarship.
Eligibility
Students must meet transfer admissions requirements, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 (2.5 for Hearin Scholarships), never have attended a four-year institution, and will have completed 48 transferable semester hours prior to enrolling at MUW. Each participant will be judged on their interview, academic achievement, leadership ability, and potential contributions to the University.
